Why is Coconut Wax Better?

Coconut wax is obtained from a sustainable crop that is eco-friendly to harvest and is not associated with any deforestation. It is produced from cold-pressed coconut meat leaving it free from all toxins. Coconut wax also burns cooler making your candle last longer. Joe + Monroe candles are made from completely natural ingredients resulting in a wax that burns cleaner than others in the market.

What is in the fragrance?

Each of our fragrances have been carefully created and blended using the finest essential and Phthalate free aromatic oils sourced from around the world. Joe + Monroe candles not only provide exquisite fragrances but also the ability to enhance mood and wellbeing.

Why Do We Use Wood Wicks?

Our wooden wicks are manufactured in the USA, naturally processed and sourced from sustainable forests. Besides looking unique, they provide a soft crackling sound when burning to create an alluringly warm ambience.  Unlike cotton wicks, wooden wicks emit no harmful toxins, have little to no carbon build-up, debris or sooting.

Where are you located?

We are located in Houston, TX. Our candle line is made in-studio by us in Houston.

Do you have a store I can visit?

Not currently, however we have a growing list of stores where you can experience Joe + Monroe in-store, visit our Stockist page for our current partners.

Our entire line is made in Houston, Texas.

How can I stock Joe + Monroe at my Store/Retail Space?

We offer a wholesale service for physical retail stores based in the U.S. Please contact us at info@joeandmonroe.com and we’d be happy to share more details.

When will my order ship?

Joe + Monroe candles are made fresh to order and go through a series of quality checks before it shipped to our customers. Please allow 3-7 business days for your candle to be processed and manufactured before it is shipped.  If placed on a Friday or over the weekend orders will be shipped the following business day. As soon as the shipping label is created, you will receive an email confirming the label has been created. This email will also provide a tracking number for you to track the status of the delivery.

How do I know that my order has been shipped?

You will receive a shipment notification e-mail from Joe + Monroe once your order has shipped. This e-mail contain the tracking information as well as a link to track your package online.

How can I receive free shipping?

We always offer free shipping on all orders over $100, no code necessary. Free shipping discount is not valid on previous purchases or with any other promotion or discount.

What is your online return policy?

We hope that you find your new favorite fragrance here at Joe + Monroe! However, we understand that sometimes a fragrance just isn’t for you. You may return your un-burned candle  within 14 days of purchase. The buyer is responsible for shipping cost on all return items.

How can I edit my shipping address?

If your order is shipping to an incorrect address, please contact us right away.

What if I need to change or cancel my order?

Once an order is placed, we’re unable to make any changes. If you do need us to cancel an order, please reach out to us right away and be sure to include your order number in your message. We will try our best to catch it before it goes out?

I received a damaged product. How should I proceed?

At Joe + Monroe, all of our products are carefully inspected before they are shipped. Due to the nature of our products, used candles cannot be returned or refunded. If we made a mistake or your items arrived damaged, we sincerely apologize and will take care of that for you. We will replace or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to us within 7 days of delivery.

Please email info@joeandmonroe.com with your order number and details of the damaged or defective candle and we will replace it for you, on us!

My package is lost!

If your package has been lost in transit, please reach out to us right away. After an order has been delivered to the correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.
